Invited Speakers

Associate Professor Yuen Poovarawan is a Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer of Kasetsart University, Thailand. He is a well-known professor in the fields of information security, computer networking, artificial intelligence, microprocessor, and information technology management. He was offered an award of honored national researcher in 1996. Assoc. Prof. Yuen holds seven highly distinguished research awards from National Research Council of Thailand for seven years.
Since 1991, Assoc. Prof. Yuen has been a team leader of Thailand Computer Olympics team. He is an author and co-author of more than 100 publications and textbooks in computer science and engineering published in international and national journals and conferences. He is currently a faculty member of Department of Computer Engineering and an executive advisor of many business and government organizations. Assoc. Prof. Yuen received his M. Eng from Asia Institute of Technology and Chulalongkorn University in 1975.

Dr. Urupoj Kanlayasiri is an IT Director of Business Information Technology (BIT) strategic business unit of CPPC Public Company Limited, C.P. Group. He leads BIT practice in plastics business group. He has more than 10 years experience on information security, IT strategy planning, risk assessment and control, IT service management, IT audit, and enterprise system management.
Dr. Urupoj is active in the information security and information system management. He has an extensive experience in providing professional consultation in many industries both business and government sectors in Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Korea. He also holds more than 10 research publications published in international and national journals and conferences.

Mr. Somnuk Ounjaroen is our senior advisor in Business Information Technology. He is a leader of BIT Project Management Office (PMO) and mainly focuses on technical and business management and consultation for 22 years on application system development. K. Somnuk’s clients include pharmaceutical, electronics, and plastic industry in Thailand, Taiwan, and Malaysia.

Mr. Prasert Thetthong is a technical manager of Business Information Technology. He has more than 10 years experience on business improvement and professional consulting projects. K. Prasert specializes in enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, and business applications. His clients include auto parts, electronic parts, food, pharmaceutical and discrete industries. He is in charge of the operation leader of BIT core teams including enterprise system, integrated application, technical infrastructure, and system support.

Mr. Eklikhit Butsa is our consultant of Business Information Technology. He plays an important role in leading integrated application team and has extensive experiences in several project managements including human resource management, customer relationship management, costing, manufacturing, inventory systems, fixed asset, and ERP business intelligent.

Mr. Anut Somboonpun is our consultant in Business Information Technology. K. Anut has an extensive experiences both technical and business process for many industries. He involves in security assessment, information security management system (ISMS), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). K. Anut provides the professional consultation in the fields of customer relationship management, supply chain management, and enterprise resource planning.

Mr. Rungtham Phuriwittayateera is an associate consultant in BIT. K. Rungtham involves in many security aspects including security audit, assessment, and information security management system (ISMS). He specializes in enterprise resource planning, production improvement, inventory management, document management, and shop floor control. He is also in charge of technical infrastructure projects and computer networking.
